Features

Made for people who don’t want to wait for a translation.

Everything happens in your browser – on your phone and on your computer.

Translation with context

The translation remembers the chapter’s earlier bubbles, so names, nicknames and each character’s voice stay consistent.

Live, as you scroll

Pages are translated in the background just before you reach them, and the reader bar shows which one is being translated. Long webtoon strips – piece by piece.

Tap to see the original, fix the text

A tapped bubble shows the translation in large type next to the original. Something sounds off? Fix the text – the correction stays in your account.

Is it free?

To start with – yes. Sign up and confirm your email to get starter points: a webtoon page costs 10 pts and a manga page costs 15 pts. Starter points are given once per email address. A page you already have in your account costs nothing when you read it again.

How do I translate a manga chapter online?

Copy the chapter link from the site you read on, paste it on the home page and pick your language. We translate the speech bubbles page by page and show them on the original art – manga, manhwa, manhua and webtoons alike.

Do I need to install anything?

No. MangaVerba works in the browser on your phone and computer – no app, no extension. All you need is a chapter link or the images on your device.

Which sites does it work with?

Links work with most sites that show a chapter as plain images (e.g. Webtoons and WordPress-based readers), and with MangaDex. Sites protected by Cloudflare or loading images with scripts can be opened with the “Translate in MangaVerba” bookmark – you’ll find instructions in the reader. As a last resort, save the chapter images and upload them yourself.

Which languages does it translate from?

From Korean (manhwa), Japanese (manga), Chinese (manhua), English and most others. You don’t have to choose anything – we detect the original language automatically.

Why do I read in your reader and not on the original site?

Browsers don’t let one website change the content of another. That’s why we fetch the chapter images and show them here with the translation on top. You’ll always find a link to the original site below the chapter.

Do you store the images?

We don’t store them in our database. Images are passed on for translation and may stay in the network cache for a short time (up to a day) so they load faster. Only the translated text stays in your account – only you can see it, and coming back to a chapter is instant.

How accurate is the translation?

The translation is generated automatically (AI) and takes the whole chapter’s context into account, so it usually reads naturally. The hardest parts are sound effects drawn into the panels, heavily stylized lettering and blurry scans. If something sounds off, tap the bubble and fix the text – the correction stays in your account.

Your next chapter is waiting.
